The Brain Garage
Brian wandered down the alley, growing more nervous as it grew darker. All he had was an address. It was too secret to even write down. All he had was his memory, and that wasn’t enough.
He had hoped there would be a number or some sign, but there was just a blank door in front of him. By process of elimination, he knew this had to be the right one.
He reached up, his wrist shaking, and tapped lightly against the wood.
“Yeah?” came a voice on the other side. It was stern.
“It’s… Brian. Doc told me to come here for my… condition…”
“Door’s open.”
Brian gulped. He had been too nervous to try. But yes, he was able to push the door open.
